Cookies are small text files that a website can place in your browser when you visit it. They can store information about your preferences or your activity on the site, for various purposes: technical operation, statistical analysis or personalization.
The paywithsmile.ro website does not set its own cookies for basic operation. The only form of analysis is Google Analytics 4 (described in section 5), enabled only with your consent. Your cookie preference is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage), not through a cookie.
The site loads typefaces from Google's servers, through the Google Fonts service. This operation involves a technical transfer of your IP address to Google's servers, as part of the normal communication between the browser and the server. This mechanism does not set cookies in your browser. Google may process the IP address in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The site's hosting service, provided by Hostinger, automatically generates technical server logs. These may include the visitor's IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed and the browser type. This data is stored by the hosting provider for technical and security purposes and does not constitute cookies. It is not used by the association to identify or track visitors.
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how it is used — how many visitors we have and which pages are read. We use Google Consent Mode v2: on your first visit we show you a banner where you can accept or decline analytical cookies.
Google Analytics cookies are placed only if you press "Accept all". If you choose "Essential only" or do not give your consent, no analytical cookie is placed, and Google Analytics runs in consentless mode, without collecting any data about you.

These cookies serve an exclusively statistical and analytical purpose: they allow the association to understand how the site is used overall, without directly identifying individuals. The data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with its privacy policy. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by deleting the cookies from your browser.
Internet browsers allow visitors to manage, block or delete cookies through their own settings. Disabling cookies does not affect the operation of the paywithsmile.ro website, as the site does not rely on cookies for its core functioning.
