Scar camouflage

We camouflage scars through micropigmentation, choosing the pigment that blends into your skin, so that the area becomes far less visible and your skin tone looks even again.

Scar coverage and camouflage through micropigmentation

What scar camouflage is

Through camouflage micropigmentation, we place into the scar area a pigment chosen specially to come close to your skin tone. The scar does not “disappear”, but it becomes far less visible, and the skin takes on a more even appearance. It is a paramedical technique, designed for stable, fully healed scars.

Who it is for

  • Scars after surgery, including after mastectomy or breast surgery
  • White, mature and stable scars, on fully healed skin
  • Areas with uneven tone following surgery

How it works

We begin with an assessment of the scar and, usually, with a colour test on a small area. The procedure is done only on fully healed skin and may need several sessions, depending on the scar. We move gradually, with care, working towards a natural result.

At Pay With Smile it is free

We carry out scar camouflage free of charge, through the association's artists and the national Caravan, for people who need to regain the way they looked before. No costs, with patience and dignity.
